Stephanie and Mark

Because of You

We’re starting the year right by sharing the SDE of Stephanie and Mark. They got married in Bataan called Las Casas Filipinas de Azucar. We always shoot prenup weddings here, but this is our first time to shoot a wedding – and it was amazing!

Falling in love and knowing that you won’t ever be alone in life anymore is one of the most beautiful thing about marriage. Stephanie and Mark finally got married after 4 years of being together. Many guests were teary-eyed – in a good way, and we all captured every moment of it. It was nice that the weather cooperated and it was definitely a beautiful day to get married!

Jenna’s 18th Birthday!

Debut

Jenna’s 18th birthday was celebrated with her friends and family in Shangri-la at the Fort.

Jenna is currently studying abroad. She travelled back to Manila to celebrate her debut and Christmas with family. It’s easy to see why she is so loved. How most of her friends and family describe Jenna? Pretty and smart. She keeps her feet on the ground even with all her achievements. She knows her goals, but makes sure that family will always be first. With so many things going on with her life, this sure is a moment to remember. What better way it is to preserve these moments in a film?

Frances and Ziggy

looove!

Frances and Ziggy got married at the Shrine of Sacred Heart.

I remember meeting Frances and Ziggy for the wedding, but we ended up talking about Feng Shui. I was single then, and maybe I shared that I just came from Binondo and had my palms read. “You will get married to a foreigner” the Feng Shui master told me. True enough, I was married to a foreigner the next year. But this blog is not about my love story, it’s about Frances who hates that Ziggy loves Feng Shui so much. I remembered this because this was one of Frances and Ziggy’s list of 10 Things I Hate About You.

My boss, Jason Magbanua made a “10 Things I Hate About You” rendition of them here:

Ruth and Kevin

Always

Ruth and Kevin tied the knot at Chapel on the Hill, followed by an intimate reception at Narra Hill.

I met Ruth and Kevin a month or so coming to the wedding day. Funny, because they booked us last minute, and we are so glad to be available to do it! They shared that they are High School sweethearts. They have been together for 12 years, and finally decided to get married last November 20, 2016. I even told them that if they had a baby, it’s already 12 years old now! They both just laughed and agreed. It’s amazing how a high school sweetheart can blossom into something more. This is not so usual nowadays, and we are so happy to capture this wedding filled with love and promises.

Now I Get The Feeling Of Being The Bride

Now I Get The Feeling Of Being The Bride

When you sit on the make-up chair and told not to worry about a thing.

When you can’t describe the feeling while walking the aisle, but you just wish you won’t trip on the floor because your gown is a bit too long.

When you are asked to project in front of the camera, but end up laughing so hard instead of trying to look demure.

When someone comes up on stage to say a speech, and you just feel really scared of what that person would say.

Well, these are just a few things I felt.

To be honest, I broke all the rules in my wedding. Quite ironic because I would usually give a damn good advise to my clients during meetings as if I was married before. I would say, “make sure to write your weddings on a piece of paper”, but I end up typing it on my phone 30min before I walked down the aisle. But I guess, when love comes, you don’t really have much time to waste. I told myself, “I don’t care if I’m wearing a gown I just ordered 2 days ago online. I simply want lotsa booze, good music, my friends and family, and of course, my groom on my wedding day”

I remember during my wedding day, I told kuya Delfin, “hey! Please take care of my gown.” And then 5 seconds after, we were looking at each other. It was me, my boss Jason, and Ms. Madge, blurted out laughing, “parang first time ah!”. It’s a usual scenario, but it was way too funny because I was acting like a real Bride. And from there, I just snapped and stopped worrying. I knew, I’m in good hands right? I’m with the people I work with, and I trust them fully with my wedding.

My husband told me, “Baby, your team is amazing. They are really good at what they do. We are so lucky!” and all the more do I feel proud that I am working with people who are so passionate with what they do.
Now I get the feeling when my couple would say, “I watched our video alooot of times.”

Thanks to my boss Jason Magbanua and our team, especially Kuya Pat, Ate Mada, Enzo, Lord, Tin, Kuya Delf, ate Patti, Ms. Madge, Sir Dino & Gia, Mangored, my family and friends, Wedding Industry friends, everything fell into place. This video is reliving that moment we were crazy enough to organize a wedding in less than a month. It won’t really be such an amazing wedding if not for these people who were there to help, celebrate and witness our love.

Isa, this is just the beginning. This video is especially for you, my asawa!

Judy and JM

Love

Judy and JM got married in Mary the Queen Parish, followed by a beautiful garden reception at Sampaguita Garden.

Judy and JM have been together since 2012. They had a Civil wedding in Sydney, Australia last February. Judy shares that JM’s proposal story was quite funny. They were heading back home at Darling Harbour bridge after a monthsary dinner. Judy narrates: “We were walking quite hurriedly kasi super lamig na lamig na ako and then i noticed he was parang limping. so i thought nakauntie shoelace nya when he started to bend down sabi ko pa in a parang bitchy tone “akin na nga yang bottle(of wine) na hawak mo! bilisan mo ang lamig na super i wanna go home!” and then ayun he gota red box pala on his hand and proposed.”

Char and Ron

Brand New

Char and Ron got married at Santuario de San Jose last weekend, followed by a beautiful reception at the new Shangri-la at the Fort Grand Ballroom.

I’m sooo excited to share this SDE of my fellow batchmate, Char! I remember that we were never classmates, but I know Char because sometimes, we were seated beside each other whenever we were asked to fall in line by height! (aka it’s called being cute) I always found this girl cheerful, and I’m so happy to see her blossom into a beautiful young lady! (wow, now i sound like Sr. Dina).

FYAM team is very happy to capture all the beautiful moments of your wedding with Ron! You guys look so wonderful together, and we wish you all the best in your marriage!

Cheska and John Paul

Lost Without You

Cheska and JP got married at San Agustin, followed by a reception in Sofitel.

Cheska and John Paul have been together for 9 years already. They were in a long distance for almost half of the time they were together. It’s amazing how these two people are stronger in time because in the end, it’s not how far you guys are apart, but how strong a relationship can be when two people are not together physically. Finally, now, nothing can set them apart. Their love for each other can succumb any trial that may come their way, and we are so happy to celebrate with them and be able to capture this love.
