Destination: Cebu

Gela and Danniel

Cebu wedding

I know I’ve said this a lot of times, but I’m saying it again. We LOVE shooting Cebu weddings. Gela and Danniel just had their destination wedding in Cebu. They are both based in Hong Kong for years already, but they decided to get married in the Philippines.

I was able to shoot during the groom preps of Danniel. It was so fun because his groomsmen were all Filipinos too and they know how to speak Cantonese! Love love the boutonnieres that were made by Danniel’s friend! Of course Gela looked so pretty with her wedding gown! You guys should watch the SDE.

P.S. Aerial view of Cebu Shangrila Mactan is just awesome!

Destination: Manila

Regina and Angelo

Netherlands/Philippines

I just knew this SDE cannot wait another day without being shared. Regina and Pieter got married yesterday at Santuario de San Antonio followed by a beautiful reception at Sofitel.

This SDE gave me goosebumps! My favorite is Angelo’s reaction as Regina walked the aisle.

I met Angelo a few days before the wedding, but I already met Regina before. It felt so good to meet a couple so full of love with each other. I remember Regina calling me on the phone while I was waiting at the restaurant. “Please look for the most handsome guy in the restaurant”. I laughed and yes, I was able to find Angelo in a second. As Regina entered the restaurant, Angelo says, “I missed you so much I haven’t seen you for a day”.

They both were in a long distance relationship for 5 years. Angelo is from Netherlands, while Regina is from here in the PH.

FYAM is happy to capture a very special moment, congrats and best wishes!

Destination: Manila

Mallory and Obby

Latch

A few weeks ago, Obby and Mallory got married at Santuario de San Antonio, followed by a reception at White Space.

I remember clearly after our meeting, everyone in the office were asking me who she was. Well, that’s because she was really pretty. She told me she’s marrying a really gwapo Filipino whom she knew from college way back in the US. Obby and Mallory are owners of Fisher Mall in Malabon, but I can tell you, these guys are so humble. The wedding was simple, elegant and beautiful. Oh! and my team definitely loved the coffee they were serving at the Fisher Cafe stand they had during their wedding. :)

P.S. I still can’t get over the father of Obby, who danced the night away.

Destination: Cebu

Ria and Odin

Try, Try, Try

Ria and Odin got married in Shangrila Mactan, Cebu. It was such a feast to see most of the guests from Manila. Our beautiful FYAM bride, Ria looked stunning wearing a Rosalyn Lagdameo. Oh how we love shooting once again with Nicolo Manreal and his team, Rainbowfish Photography too!

We love shooting weddings where people are not excited to go home. Ria and Odin’s crowd knew how to have a good time. I remember after Odin sang, Ria sang on stage to surprise the groom too, as their family and friends rocked the dance floor. It wasn’t really a surprise to see the crowd singing and dancing all night because Odin is a film director, particularly in the music scene. We must admit that there’s a little pressure on shooting this wedding, nevertheless, the crowd was awesome, the couple - cool, the wedding - BEAUTIFUL!

Do watch their wedding film!

Destination: Batangas

Jacky and Sani

Golden

A few months ago, Sani and Jacky got married at Punta Fuego. The view was spectacular! The weather was perfect, and everything in place.

I can tell Jacky is super lucky to have Sani! They told me how he proposed in Paris. It was like something that you watch in the movies, but real time. Sani is someone who loves surprising Jacky. Even during the wedding day, Sani had surprises coming every hour for Jacky. How sweet is that?!

Do watch the SDE!

Destination: Laguna

Roberta and Mario

Stay With You

Roberta and Mario finally tied the knot at St Benedict Church, followed by a beautiful reception at The Monochrome.

Roberta is a counselor at a school while Mario works in the construction industry. They have been together for 10 years.
I can imagine the anticipation of marrying someone you have spent an entire decade with. The beauty of our FYAM Bride, Roberta radiates as she walks down the aisle for the man he loves!

Thank you Ian Santillan for letting us use your photo for the vimeo cover!

Destination: Pampanga

Ihna and Ron

save the date

A few months ago, we got to shoot Ihna and Ron’s save the date video at Sapang Bato. It’s a beautiful place hidden in Pampanga, where you wouldn’t even think of holding your phone!

Ihna and Ron are both into car parts business, telling us more on why they both love off-road driving. A few weeks ago, I got to try camping in the same place, and I can imagine how fun it is to fall in love with someone adventurous than the usual date in the city.

Here’s Ihna and Ron’s save the date video!

Destination: Pampanga

Kia and Ric

Ikaw At Ako

Kia and Ric finally tied the knot at Our Lady of Remedies, Clark Pampanga. The reception was held at Fontana.

Wooh, Kia and Ric’s wedding will be memorable for the team. Everything was going smoothly until our car broke down the moment we arrived at Fontana. Well, this didn’t stop us from shooting a beautiful wedding. To the rescue, Mangored Randall generously offered his car for us to use. Even the Veluz team offered! Thank you so much guys!

Jason Magbanua did their pre-wedding video, while we did the wedding film.

Kia requested for “Ikaw at Ako” by Johnoy Danao. HA! I’m a Johnoy Danao fan – so that would totally be a YES! Soo happy we did this wedding. It was beautiful. She was very stunning in her Veluz gown while Ric’s wearing a Francis Libiran. Do watch the SDE!
