Cassie and Franclu

love is all we need

Cassie and Franclu got married in San Agustin a month ago, and I wasn’t surprised to see some of my batchmates in the video. They met in Beijing and have been together for 4 years before finally deciding to tie the knot.

They initially inquired Jason Magbanua. Unfortunately, he’s already booked. FYAM to the rescue! We shot their wedding, and glad that we didn’t disappoint!

I’ve been working on weddings in the past 3-4 years and it’s my first time to see the entourage with an off-white and emerald themed wedding. It was rebellious and beautiful! But my eyes were all on the wedding gown of Cassie. I had to ask her who made it, even if I had a really strong gut feel that Veluz made it. And yes, I was right! Veluz made her gown, and Cassie looked stunning.

Charmaine and Philip

Ready For Anything

FYAM had an awesome time shooting Charmaine and Philip’s wedding. Charmaine grew up in the Philippines, and later decided to have her career as a pre-school teacher in Hong Kong, while Philip is a local there. Charmaine and Philip got introduced to each other at a wedding in Manila around 2010.

FYAM just loves shooting out of the country! Who says no to Hong Kong?! Shooting in another country is harder than we thought. It was a crazy start! Imagine the logistics we had to plan. Thankful for Tita Becky who took care of us. :)

The couple had two tea ceremonies in the morning. 1st was in the Bride’s hotel, 2nd was at the groom’s house. Church ceremony follows in the afternoon before the reception. It was hectic and really tiring but all worth it! It all ended really well. The groom even asked me to bring home the wedding cake, lol!

Congratulations and best wishes, Charmaine and Philip! Enjoy your honeymoon in Bora Bora!

Jocelyn and Matthew

Childhood Friends

Jocelyn and Matthew tied the knot at Church of the Holy Trinity, followed by a beautiful reception at Edsa Shangrila Hotel. We had so much fun shooting our lovely FYAM bride, Jocelyn.

Jocelyn and Matthew have been friends since they were 5 years old. They spent their grade school years together never expecting their story would end in wedding bells. It was Matthew’s sense of humor and sweetness that caught Jocelyn. Their common interest in basketball didn’t hurt either.

Who would’ve thought that two grade school friends would fall in love and start a whole new chapter together?

Now let’s watch their SDE!

Candice and Lance

Love, love, love

Candice and Lance got married at Shrine of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, followed by a beautiful reception at Marriott Hotel.

They met in college. “It was a long courting period”. This was how Lance described how they ended up together. He courted Candice for 1 year, but Candice noted that Lance told him it was “getting to know” phase. But when two people are meant for each other, everything will fall into place in the right time. True enough, they have been together for 7years already before they planned to get married this year.

Back in 2008, Candice surprised Lance with 22 flowers given at different times of the day. It was his birthday and graduation day. Everyone teased Candice about it, so Lance had a witty idea of doing the same thing for Candice on their engagement proposal.

Nikki and Iven

First Love!

Nikki and Iven got married at San Antonio de Padua, followed by a beautiful reception at Angelfields. Our beautiful FYAM bride is a baker, so it’s no surprise that she baked their own wedding cake!

Nikki and Iven met through their bestfriends. Funny how Nikki even tried matching Iven with some of her friends, but Iven never pursued any of them. Eventually, Iven tried pursuing her - which gave Nikki the perfect sense why Iven never tried pursuing any of her friends!

Iven was Nikki’s only boyfriend. Iven proposed to Nikki 10 days after their third anniversary (which is also the same date he introduced Nikki to his parents the year they became a couple).

France and Abraham

This time

France and Abraham both met in Paris 5 years ago to study pastry and culinary at Le Cordon Bleu. After a year, they got together and clicked right away. 5 years after, they decided to get married in the Philippines.

France and Abraham got married in St. Peter, followed by a reception in The Peninsula Manila. France was a very stunning bride! She had Veluz do her wedding gown. It was perfect on her. She’s so lucky to wear it twice! They got married already in the states a few months ago, but of course, Philippine weddings are always the best. :)

Do check out their slowmoo video too!

Christina and BJ

It's Magic!

Christina and Bj tied the knot at Santuario de San Jose a few months ago followed by a reception at Edsa Shangri-la hotel.

Christina and Bj are both doctors. I remember our meeting at Greenhills. They would always tease each other. From there, I just knew that it wouldn’t be hard to shoot these guys. True enough, come wedding day, we got beautiful footages of all smiles and laughter. Just today, Bj told me her wife is pregnant! Congrats Christina and Bj! I’m sure you guys will be awesome parents! FYAM can’t wait to shoot the sister of Bj’s wedding this year!

FYAM is so happy to share their wedding video!

Destination: Thailand

Novi and Trevor

Phuket Wedding

FYAM had an awesome time shooting the destination wedding of Novi and Trevor in Phuket, Thailand!

Novi is half Chinese-Indonesian, while Trevor is Australian. They are both based in Australia who decided to tie the knot have a destination wedding in Phuket.

Sri Panwa has a beautiful 360 degrees view of the bay. It was the perfect setting for the second ceremony of Novi and Trevor. They were surrounded with their closest friends and family, counting to 48 guests all in all. We really don’t mind flying all the way from the Philippines to do this again!
