Carla and Jonathan

Falling

Carla and Jonathan tied the knot at Santuario de San Jose, followed by a beautiful reception at Raffles hotel.

I get giddy when clients tell me that they love watching wedding videos, but it was with FYAM that they felt connected in terms of the vibe and quality. They even told me that they only had us in mind once they started their wedding planning. (love you guys)

Now let me tell you something about our FYAM Couple…

Carla is a Research Scientist doing her postdoc fellowship in MIT while Jonathan is a Management Consultant at Deloitte. Nope they didn’t meet at work. They knew each other for 13 years already, but only started dating 2008. Jonathan was set-up to be the prom date of Carla’s friend in Poveda and they all shared the same prom table. They became friends after that night and stayed in touch through the years.

When asked about their favorite moment at the wedding?
– Exchanging vows was a personal favorite that spoke to the solemnity of the ceremony, but equally cool was celebrating our marriage on the dance floor with EVERYONE, different groups of friends and family, both young and old, and hailing from different parts of the world (guests were from 26 cities in 15 countries) all under the same roof. It was epic!

Nina and Caloy

To Be All You Need

Nina and Caloy got married at Santuario de San Antonio, followed by a beautiful reception in Enderun.

I remember during our meeting, I asked Nina how Caloy proposed to her. They both laughed. He hasn’t proposed to her yet. No ring, no proposal. They just agreed to get married. Come a few months after, I see on my facebook feed that Caloy surprised Nina in Japan with a proposal. It was funny and interesting. I love how they would always joke around with each other. You can see in our SDE how they would always just laugh. Their happiness is contagious, and I’m just glad they asked us to shoot their wedding!

Queenie and Aaron

You + Me

Queenie and Aaron got married at Montemar beach resort in Bataan a few weeks ago! It was a beautiful garden wedding surrounded with really close friends and family.

Queenie and Aaron have a 15 years gap. But guess what? I love love love how they always work things out. I never really believed that its something hard to compromise especially if its someone you truly love and respect. I can see how Aaron would trust Queenie with her decisions, and the same way I can see how Queenie respects Aaron for his. It’s such an honor to witness this kind of love, and being able to capture it is amazing.

They both have a beautiful baby named Lauren, while another bunch of joy is on the way!

Congratulations and Best wishes you two!

Arianne and Andrew

You Are Mine

A few weeks ago Arianne and Andrew got married at San Sebastian Church, followed by a reception at Blue Leaf Pilipinas.

It’s funny how love is so predictable and magical at times. Andrew is a pilot who fell in love with the pretty stewardess, Arianne. They have been together for 6 years and have been friends for 9 years already. She shares that he proposed in the windmills in Ilocos.

Pau and Charlie

Ready or Not

Pau and Charlie got married last Sunday at San Agustin church, followed by a beautiful reception at Century

We love this couple to bits! Love love how Pau was the chill bride. Charlie on the other hand was the quiet type, but he made sure that everything was in place. I love how Charlie would do anything for Pau’s happiness. We definitely felt this beautiful kind of love, and that’s something we love about our work.

Once we got to the preps, I was surprised Charlie was there. It was unusual for me. Well, they do have a baby already, but still!!! Come an hour before ceremony, I saw Charlie again, outside Pau’s room. I quickly told him not to go inside, just to keep a little excitement for the ceremony.

I can never forget their baby Carlie! Oh how easy it is for us to produce a beautiful SDE with Carlie as the little bride. She definitely lit the whole room, the whole wedding with her infectious smile.

Doreen and Rey

Stay Young

Doreen and Rey got married at Our Lourdes Parish Church, followed by a beautiful reception at Taal Vista. Doreen looked stunning  with his Edward Teng gown.

They had to endure 2 years of long distance relationship. Doreen is based in Isabela, while Rey lives in Manila. During the exchange of vows, I can definitely see in the eyes of Rey how happy he is that he doesn’t have to wait for months before he can see Doreen. He can finally see her everyday, and that’s what really matters.

I’m really happy how the two finally decided to spend the rest of their lives together here in Manila.

Dianne and Kirk

Midnight Wants to Steal You

Dianne and Kirk got married at Holy Trinity Church, followed by a beautiful reception at the Peninsula Manila.

I somehow wish all our clients are like Dianne and Kirk.
Let me count the ways:
1.They know what they want.
2. They trust us.
3. They look so good together.

This is the complete recipe to a beautiful wedding film. I love how they both have really good taste in everything!

Now watch their SDE so you guys have an idea of what I’m talking about.

Pau and Charlie

Lights On

A few weeks ago, We did the save the date shoot of Pau and Charlie. We worked with Mangored as the Photographer, and Rabbithole Creatives as the stylist.

They saw me drinking at Mangored’s office at around 3pm. We just got back from a camping trip, and suddenly, a car just stopped in front of their office. When Pau started calling, “Therese!” I was completely surprised. It was my client! We started telling her that we just got back from a camping trip, thus drinking at 3pm was an excuse. I was showing her our photos during the trip, and she thought our trip looked so fun, that we should do that for her pre-wedding shoot too. And so we did, and it was a success! The night before, she was texting me, “Red Horse or Pale Pilsen?”.
